As all parents know, most kids will generally turn their noses up, or their plates over, when given vegetables.
A new study out of Cornell University shows that giving cool names to the vegetables will actually result in the kids eating more. Or at least eating some.

In one test, 186 preschool aged kids were given ‘X-Ray Vision Carrots’ 2 days out of the week, and regular carrots another 2 days out of the week. The kids consistently ate almost twice as much of the X-Rav Vision Carrots on the days they were served. So cool names make for cool food. And kids will eat cool food.
So, for the members of the audience who are looking for some suggestions, I give you these:
- Super Strong Salad
- Bug Squishy Squash
- Power-Up Peas
- Karate Kick Corn
- Big Bear Broccoli
