PETA’s Pimped Out Vegetarians

The organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has come up with a brilliant marketing ploy. PETA, long thought to be one of the more screwy members of the animal activist groups, has established an online Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door contest. Open to both sexes, PETA will select 16 men and 16 women finalists. The finalists will be shown in all their pinup glory on the peta.org site where online voting will determine a king and queen of the salad bar set.

PETA, if you recall, was also the group that had their Super Bowl ad pulled by NBC after execs decided that American football fans were not ready to see two scantily clad women fondling some lucky vegetables.
